Browser Extension (Legacy)

For those looking to add WANNA as an additional layer on top of their favourite UI

1. Download & Unzip

1. Go to app.youwanna.fun

2. Click Get WANNA Chrome Extension to download the .zip file

3. Locate and double-click (Mac) / right-click -> extract all (Windows) on the .zip file in your File Explorer to unzip

2. Install the Extension

1. Open your browser settings and go to Extensions

2. (Brave Only: Click Manage Extensions)

3. Enable Developer Mode (top-right corner)

4. Click Load Unpacked (top-left corner)

5. Select the unzipped folder and click Select

Tip: Click the 'puzzle piece' on your extension bar (top-right) to see the WANNA extension initially (green “?” icon), then pin for quick access in the future.

3. Connect Your Wallet

1. Click the WANNA extension icon

2. Click Connect to link your on-chain wallet

3. Sign the request in your wallet extension

Tip: Create a username & password once connected, for a quick & easy login next time.

4. Access Your Dashboard

1. Once connected, click Go to Dashboard in the WANNA extension - your connection will carry across

5. Exchange $WANNA for Wanna Points (1:1)

To avoid high Ethereum mainnet fees until bridging is complete in March '25:

1. In the dashboard, click Get Wanna Points (top of the page)

2. Enter the amount of $WANNA tokens you want to swap (1:1)

3. Confirm the transaction to receive Wanna Points in your account (linked to onchain wallet)

Note: These Wanna Points will be fully redeemable for $WANNA tokens (1:1) once the bridging to an L2 chain occurs (earmarked for beginning of March 2025). Use Wanna Points for features like Predictions, Airdrops, Actions, and Chat, without incurring high gas fees.

6. Explore Channels

• Owners:

  • Connect your “X” (Twitter) and/or “Twitch” account(s) (can add multiple from the same platform) to start engaging with your audience, using both Channel & Wanna Points

  • See all channels you own under My Channels | Owner

  • Access engagement tools like Predictions, Airdrop, Metrics, and more by clicking into any of your profiles

• 
• Members:

  • Connect to a broadcast while the extension is active to automatically add that channel to the Member section of My Channels

  • Receive any Predictions (etc.) submitted by channel owners during broadcasts (as pop-ups)

7. Tune In & Track Predictions

• Access channel streams / spaces directly by clicking the platform logo—flashes green if the channel is live

• View your prediction history for each channel by clicking the clock icon next to the channel in the extension

Troubleshooting: If a channel doesn’t appear in the extension, try 'Reload Channels' in the menu (three dots next to your wallet address in the extension)

That’s it! You’re now set to watch, listen, engage & earn on/in WANNA.
