The Airdrop feature empowers channel owners and administrators to distribute Wanna Points to their connected audience using intelligent distribution algorithms. This powerful tool helps streamers reward their community, attract new viewers, and maintain engagement across their channel.

How Airdrops Work

Airdrops allow channel owners to distribute a specified amount of Wanna Points among their currently connected viewers. The distribution can be customized based on different strategies to achieve specific community goals.

Prerequisites:

• Must be a channel owner or designated administrator

• Must have sufficient Wanna Points in your account for distribution

• Recipients must be currently connected to your channel

• $WANNA tokens are automatically converted to Wanna Points at a 4:1 ratio before distribution

Distribution Methods

🏆 LOYALTY Distribution

Purpose:

Reward your most dedicated viewers based on their existing engagement and investment in your channel.

How it Works:

• Wanna Points are distributed proportionally based on the number of Channel Points each connected user currently holds

• Users with more Channel Points receive a larger share of the airdrop

• Rewards long-term viewers and active community members

• Encourages continued engagement and Channel Point accumulation

Best For:

• Rewarding loyal, long-term viewers

• Incentivizing Channel Point engagement

• Special events for your core community

• Milestone celebrations with your most dedicated fans

Example: If you're distributing 1,000 Wanna Points and have 3 connected users:
    - User A: 500 Channel Points (50% of total) → Receives 500 Wanna Points
    - User B: 300 Channel Points (30% of total) → Receives 300 Wanna Points
    - User C: 200 Channel Points (20% of total) → Receives 200 Wanna Points

⚖️ EQUAL Distribution

Purpose:

Provide equal opportunities for all viewers, regardless of their current Channel Point balance or engagement history.

How it Works:

• Wanna Points are distributed evenly among all currently connected users

• Every connected viewer receives exactly the same amount

• No consideration given to Channel Point balances or engagement levels

• Perfect for welcoming newcomers and encouraging first-time participation

Best For:

• Welcoming new audience members

• "Dipping their toes in the water" experiences

• Inclusive community events

• First-time viewer incentives

• Building initial engagement with unfamiliar audiences

Example: If you're distributing 1,000 Wanna Points among 10 connected users:
    - Each user receives exactly 100 Wanna Points
    - No difference based on Channel Points or engagement history

Setting Up an Airdrop

Step-by-Step Process

Access Airdrop Feature

• Navigate to your channel dashboard

• Select "AIRDROP" from the sidebar menu

Choose Distribution Type

• Select between $WANNA Token (ETH) or Wanna Points

• Note: $WANNA tokens will be automatically converted to Wanna Points

Select Distribution Method

• LOYALTY: For proportional distribution based on Channel Points

• EQUAL: For even distribution among all connected users

Set Distribution Amount

• Enter the total amount of Wanna Points to distribute

• The system will show you the current conversion rate if using $WANNA tokens

Review and Confirm

• Review the distribution details

• Confirm the number of currently connected users

• Click "CONFIRM AIRDROP" to execute

Important Considerations

Timing:

• Airdrops distribute only to users connected at the time of execution

• Consider announcing airdrops in advance to maximize participation

• Best performed during peak viewership hours

Conversion Rates:

• $WANNA tokens convert to Wanna Points at current market rates

• Conversion happens automatically during the airdrop process

• Final distribution amounts are calculated in Wanna Points

Recipient Requirements:

• Users must be actively connected to your channel

• No minimum account age or previous engagement required

• Recipients receive points instantly upon distribution
